The main task of construction technicians is to ensure the realization of plans and projects prepared by architects and engineers. Construction technicians work as support staff for static and reinforced concrete calculations, preparation of the construction project and process, soil laboratory tests, construction design and drawings. They can work actively in constructions such as dams, roads, airports, residences, can be technical personnel in the construction supervision services, laboratory works, and can provide support personnel in the preparation and following up of projects in architectural and engineering.
As a construction technology program, we aim to train technical personnel who have the ability to prepare architectural and static projects, who can make the quantity survey and estimation, manage the land and construction works and who work within the professional ethics.
Our graduates can find the job in the private sector, such as construction companies, building inspection companies, ground laboratories, architectural offices and public works, such as the State Hydraulic Works, Municipalities, Environment and Urbanization Directorates.
NOTE: Construction Technology program education and training activities are performed in our unit in the district of Sultanhanı.
